Artist's Biography
Richard Ehrlich was born in New York City in 1938. He received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Cornell University and went on to study medicine, receiving his medical degree from Cornell in 1963. He first began painting, influenced by 19th century artists, especially Cezanne, and turned to photography. His work is in many private collections as well as museums worldwide. He published Images from Namibia in 2003. Richard Ehrlich currently resides in California.
